Speaking Session

Adding Telemetry Pipelines to your Platform Toolbox

6:45pm – 7:00pm

Building and maintaining a platform is challenging. Today’s average platform contains multiple planes, each in turn consisting of multiple components.
For platform engineers, this means that there are many lines of logs to digest and decipher, to stay on top of issues.

Learn how Fluent Bit, an open-source telemetry pipeline engine, can help you control log volume and process logs.

With Fluent Bit, logs can be routed from k8s and non-k8s workloads. In addition, parsers and transformations help control log volume, helping you retain only what you need.

All of this ultimately translates to improved uptime, reduced manual troubleshooting, and a peaceful night’s sleep!

This session provides attendees with a primer on telemetry pipelines, providing guidance on it’s value, as well as helpful resources to help you begin your observability journey!
